Franki Pile Design

(OP)
I would like to have some reference material for franki pile design. If you can show me where to find them it would be greatful. So far, I could locate only one paper by William J. Neely "Bearing Capacity of Expanded Base Piles in Sand" (1989). I know there is one more paper by Rey Nordlund (1970), but do not know where to find it. Thanks.

Conference on Design and Installation of Pile Foundations and Cellular Structures, Lehigh University, April, 1970.

RE: Franki Pile Design

There was a publication "Pile Tips" where one month's article also discussed and gave a chart for "capacity vs volume of concrete extruded." I have it in deep storage so not able to provide.

RE: Franki Pile Design

I am not sure, but you may found something in the Driven Manual.  You may download it free from FHWA webpage.

RE: Franki Pile Design

For info about Franki piles, call Alan Watka at G. Donaldson Construction (a division of Hayward Baker) in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

RE: Franki Pile Design

Again, call Alan Watka.  He recently sent me design info on Franki piles.  He also would probably be interested in bidding the project.
