120Volt or 208Volt electric motor on 50 Hz Single phase

(OP)
I'm a new applications engineer (mechanical by college). I have a choice of choosing a 120V or 208V single phase motor that is designed for 60 Hz but will be used at 50 Hz. I understand that the motor will turn slower and have less horse power, but is there a prefered voltage? Is there a difference in efficiency between the 120V or 208V ?
Thanks a lot.
