DELET MULTIPLE LAYER CATEGORIES AT ONCE?

DELET MULTIPLE LAYER CATEGORIES AT ONCE?

DELET MULTIPLE LAYER CATEGORIES AT ONCE?

(OP)
Hi All
Is there a way to delete multiple layer categories at once?
I imported a dwg file which brought in a bunch of unwanted category names with it.

NX5

Thanks,
James

RE: DELET MULTIPLE LAYER CATEGORIES AT ONCE?

Sorry, but I don't think there's way to do that, in NX 5.0.

However, that will NOT be a problem with the new enhanced Layer dialog implemented in NX 6.0 where it will behave more like a 'navigator' window.  You will be able to select multiple objects using normal Shift-select for a range or Ctrl-select for adding or removing items from a list of selected objects, in this case, Category Names, and then performing an operation on all of them at once, such as 'Delete'.

Export your part to a new part then you get rid of the existing kategories
