starting with unsew?
starting with unsew?
(OP)
starting with nx5 I have ever thought how to use unsew.
I found a nice video on youtube from VD (thank them)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7COXso4JDGY
I started to rework the example an d found out that I cannot sew new faces closing the open body to ao solid body it only results in sheetbody ( Nx6.03mp2).
What must I do to get a solid body result sewing an unsewed faces?
thx in ad

RE: starting with unsew?
Mind you you could have just created the sheet and patched it on in that example to get the same results.

RE: starting with unsew?
I have a workflow where I extract all face from a body and replace some faces (one or more) . Then I sew them together and in most cases I get an solid body result.Starting with unsew I removed the face I want to recreate. Added new faces and sew them I only get an sheetbody result. ???? Why
Its a closed sheetbody.

Preferences -> Modeling... -> General(tab)
...and make sure that the 'Body Type' option is set to 'Solid'.
