I HAVE TO CONNECT AN 8"DIAMETER DUCTILE IRON PIPE WITH AN 8" DIAMETER pvc PIPE. COULD SOMEBODY DESCRIBE THE CONNECTION AND ALL THE PARTS (FITTINGS) THAT I NEED TO USE TO DO THAT CONNECTION?? (GASKETS, TRANSITION GASKETS, COUPLINGS, ETC)- WHAT IS A MEGALOK??
OBS: IN THE CONNECTION LOCATION THERE ISN'T ANY CHANGE IN DIRECTION OF THE WATER MAIN...

Call your local pipe supplier and request catalogs of the appropriate materials.  They should be able to provide all info.  Megalug is a brand name for a joint restraint device.  Do you know how to check joint restraint?  if no, see DIPRA publications.
