I received an Autocad drawing that contains multiple paperspace tabs. Is there a way to export the tabs to separate dwg files? Thanks.

RE: Export paper space tabs into separate drawings

You can set up the drawing that you wish to bring them into.  Then use design center and drag and drop the layout into the new drawing.

RE: Export paper space tabs into separate drawings

If Paper Space includes viewports into model space, you will need the viewports (often on frozen or off layers) and also the objects in model space that are being viewed.  It may be easier to save the drawing with a new name and then delete all other tabs (ctrl-click all you want to delete, right click and pick delete).

RE: Export paper space tabs into separate drawings

in your new drawing, type LAYOUT, then T, browse to your received autocad drawing, select the layout tab to import. repeat as necessary.

Thanks all. I tried the youngEIT approach and it works for my application.
