(OP)
i have a large crane that will pick a 170 metric ton lift. the crane will be mounted on 2 rails and result in a 70 metric ton per meter squared load on each rail.

I need to design the foundation for these rails and do not have a good concrete resource on hand. does anyone have a guide for doing the concrete and reinforcement in something like this. this is a one time pick, but it has to be done right.

thanks.

Why not just hire a structural engineer to manage / limit your liability?

What does 0.7 MPa load on each rail mean?
