Array fillets

Array fillets

Array fillets

(OP)
Hi

Why cant we array the fillet on the extrudes.

See attached img. After the rectangular array, I need to use this rect array in a circular array.

Thx

RE: Array fillets

Can you post the part for testing?

Are you getting any error messages when applying the pattern?
Which pattern function and options have you tried?

RE: Array fillets

Are you trying to make the pattern of the fillets only?

It is better to pattern the entire extrude feature with the fillets instead.

For mysake, I wished I could send the part but I cant.

I could figure out more details. Actually I can pattern the extrude and the fillet. But there is also a draft of 3 deg on that extrude. This is the issue, it wouldnt array.
Dont know why. I have unchecked/Checked the geometry pattern also.

Thx

RE: Array fillets

I can't recall ever being able to array a fillet feature.  I think it has something to do with the end conditions and the surface ID's.  I could be wrong or maybe i'm just on an older version (sw2008 still)
