PSV elevation

PSV elevation

PSV elevation

(OP)
I put a 3x2 PSV's outlet center line elevation 1.45m. but clients said it is too high, they want to watch the PSV operator. so I have to drop PSV 200mm lower. Does snybody know the reason? I thought 1.45m is the best elevation, because PSV can be removed easily.thanks,

RE: PSV elevation

Not enough information.
Is this PSV discharging to atmosphere or to a closed system?
Where is this plant being built?
What nationality are the workers going to be in this plant?

RE: PSV elevation

(OP)
PSV discharge to a closed system. The plant is in North America.
on site, does PSV actuator need to be accessable?
we should consider PSV flanges more or PSV actuator more? thanks

RE: PSV elevation

Dear Probably pennpiper asked about technical(service, application etc.) details rather than geographical location etc.

Best Regards
Qalander(Chem)
