Indent feature help

(OP)
Ok, I've been reading the help on Indent and trying to figure out how to use it and I know I'm not seeing something.  I'd like to indent the flat sheet shown in the attachment with the pointed tool, but nothing happens when I pick the sheet as target and the point as the tool.  If I make the tool contact the sheet like help says then I only have one solid body and that doesn't work, either.  Does someone know of a good tutorial on this or can slap me around so I can understand the how-to??  Much obliged in advance.

Thanks all, I was not using Insert Part to bring my tool body in.  Looks like I have to do some reading in my SW Bible to bone up on that.  Gupta65, thanks for the link but I'm still on '08 and couldn't open your file.
