Inorganic chemistry brush up, self study
Inorganic chemistry brush up, self study
(OP)
I would like to hear if anybody here has positive experience with a self study course for inorganic chemistry perhaps internet based - or maybe can recommend a book.
Im a chemical engineer (M.Sc.) so i should know all the basics but its 15 years ago i graduated and 20 since i took my basic inorganic courses. I have resentæy frequently experiensed situations where i would have liked to remember more than i do so i feel the need for a brush up course.
Best regards
Morten

I personally feel that a thorough and in depth review & study of
'The Periodic Table of Elements'
Properties,Characteristics'associated with Groups& Periods can help you
even if an on-line study is made.
Probably you may help yourself with Jotting down of few Critical Items of Groups,Period Related items as this helps in better memorizing.
Hope this can do the refreshing of whole basis of Chemistry and its impact with respect to the usefulness and/or otherwise of various materials(Metals, others) of common use.
This supplemented with the concept of solutions can help with even alloys, composites etc. characteristics.
Hope you find this supportive/useful indeed!
