Flow as the fluid water rise from a pipe end
Flow as the fluid water rise from a pipe end
(OP)
Once I see a graphic and related formula to know flow by the heigth the fluid rising from a open pipe standing vertical its main axis .
Any had seen it?
Please route mo to it.
Thanks in advance

RE: Flow as the fluid water rise from a pipe end
P1 and P2 are equal and cancel. v2 is zero at maximum water jet height. h1 is zero since it is the reference level. cancelling terms and rearranging...
f(h) = (.5*v1^2)/g
assuming negligible frictional losses along pipe length
