DGC 2020

DGC 2020

I have a Basler DGC-2020 that I've been wrestling with for a few days.

The model I have has 4 output relays. OUT 1,2,3,4.
I have rearranged the logic so ALARM BELL has no output and I've moved it to the GENERATOR BREAKER CLOSE OUTPUT.  However nothing I do seems to ever get the relay to operate.  I've even used the GLOBAL ALARM relay on the GENERATOR BREAKER OPEN signal.  It never changes state either.

I'm led to believe that INPUT_9 and _10 are generated in the Basler's GENBRK assignment code, that is it's nothing I supply physically. That's what the Basler tech told me but then I had the poor chap up at 3AM his time so maybe that is an incorrect assumption..

What's up with this?

RE: DGC 2020

Hi Keith;
I hope that I am not wasting your time.
I see on page 170 of the down loadable manual that IN1 - IN16 are physical inputs. You may need an external jumper. But then there are over 200 pages that I haven't looked at yet, and I'm running out of time this morning.
Good luck.

Thanks Bill.

You're findings are correct. The inputs to the GEN Block are actually external over rides. Stick a logic one in to, say, the close and the output will close immediately.

I think the issue is with the Main Bus Stable conditions I've set.
