Updating connections in Ansys

Updating connections in Ansys

(OP)
Hi,

When I import an assembly into Ansys, it automatically creates connections.
(I make sure that the setting under: Tools > Options > Connections > Auto Detect Contact on Attach is set to "Yes".)
Next I change the names of the connections so that they are renamed based on definition.

I now run an analysis, and find out that I want to make a small change to the geometry.
I edit the part in Solid Edge, and now I would like to update the geometry within Ansys.

First I make sure that the setting "Generate Contact On Update" under "Connections" is set to "No".
I then use "Geometry Parameter Values" to update the geometry.
What happens is that almost all connections fail to regenerate properly.
I either lose the "Target" or the "Contact" definition on almost all connections.

By the way, I am using DesignSpace.

I hope some of you might have an idea what the cause may be.

Thanks!
