RE: non - return valves
To properly characterize a valve's performance in regards to leakage you need to specify a media, a differential pressure and and permissible amount of leakage over a time.
RE: non - return valves
The flow rates given was "7,5 m/s in normal operating conditions and up to 10 m/s in unusual operating conditions"
The media is water
That is why I would like to have a definition explanation for the phrase "tight shut off type"
Thank you and regards

A Google search for "zero leak check valve+seal ring" brought oup several others as well.
