Hydrate Formation

Hydrate Formation

Hydrate Formation

(OP)
Can anyone help me out to find a method of discovering the temperature and pressure that hydrates may form in a gas pipeline ?
I have the gas composition/flowrate/pressure/temperature data.
I know there are programmes I can buy but as my process conditions do not vary much I only need to find the temp and pressure thresholds for formation.
It is costing me a fortune in glycol as I simply inject when it gets cold... !!!

RE: Hydrate Formation

I asked this exact same question in the gas distribution engineering and got this link from dcasto.  it was super helpful!  Just download the programs and each allows you to model a little differently.
