Statistical Energy Analysis and Vibroacoustics?

Statistical Energy Analysis and Vibroacoustics?

(OP)
I am trying to learn more about SEA with respect to vibroacoustics?  Can someone explain the statistical energy method of solving an acoustics problem?  I am a little confused and do not know the differences between FEA and SEA.

Also, does anyone know where I can find AutoSEA tutorials?  AutoSEA seems like a black box type of analysis and I want to learn more about its uses and limitations.

I am no expert on acoustics, and would like to learn more.

RE: Statistical Energy Analysis and Vibroacoustics?

You may want to start a thread in forum384: Mechanical Acoustics/Vibration engineering and post a link to this thread.  I'm sure there are some vibrations and acoutsics guys that don't wander around in this forum, but would have some great input.
