I have less exerience in grip, I'm looking for a solution, the quickest way to get all faces of an selected body in grip.

RE: grip question

By getting them "in GRIP", do you mean to tag them with names/attributes or to perform some sort of operation on them?

RE: grip question

(OP)
yes,John,
I want to ask which face of a body has an attribute

RE: grip question

OK, so you have a specific attribute which you're looking for and on your model one of the faces has that attribute assigned to it and you wish to have the system indicate in some way which face that that attribute has been assigned.  Is that correct?

Does this attribute have a specific name or just any attribute with a particular value, irrespective of the name?

RE: grip question

(OP)
yes,
its grip I have done 5 years ago, we color holes and add an attribute for fit (class). Works fine even for hole table NX6
-> sort holes to that attributes. Now there is a requirement to see which hole has an attribute in 3D. Selection of all faces works, but now only the solid should be selected, and grip retrieves all faces at that solid.

RE: grip question

What is the name of the Attribute and are you looking for a particular value or only the attribute name itself?  Do you wish to indicate faces with attributes by changing their color and if so, to what color?

RE: grip question

the attribute name is hole

RE: grip question

OK, attached is a GRIP program which will change the color (to Red) of all of the faces with an object attribute titled "Hole" assigned to it.
