Cheap Low Voltage Protection Circuit

Cheap Low Voltage Protection Circuit

(OP)
I'm designing a wireless audio device. I would like to use a micro USB connector so that I can charge the battery (VBUS, GND pins) and provide access to the DSP programming pins (D+,D-,ID pins).

The programming will be done using a proprietary programmer (bit-bashed, not using USB protocol). I don't want to add a USB-UART bridge to the design because of cost.

The maximum acceptable voltage for the DSP programming pins is 2V - so can anyone suggest a compact (i.e. minimal component count), cheap, voltage clamp (circuit) that may be applicable in this design?

Thanks

RE: Cheap Low Voltage Protection Circuit

zener and a resistor... about as cheap as you can get, though it may not be the most robust.
