How to check missing surfaces in V5?

How to check missing surfaces in V5?

How to check missing surfaces in V5?

(OP)
Hi,
I have imported an IGES file for a transmission block. There are some 80 surfaces missing in the part once its imported into CATIA.

Right now I am visually checking for missing surfaces.

Is there an automatic way for identifying the "free edges/ boundaries" that can highlight the missing surfaces?

Thanks,
Arvind.

RE: How to check missing surfaces in V5?

1. join all the surfaces that you have in the body
2. select the join and the press the boundary icon

all the boundarys is now marked whit green and they are representing a missing surface

best regards
