ICC Reinforced Concrete Test

ICC Reinforced Concrete Test

ICC Reinforced Concrete Test

(OP)
Hello All.

I am ready to take the ICC Test. A co-worker informed me that by taking the fire-proofing ICC first,a person does not have to submit a letter of qualifications for additional inspection licenses ?  Also was wondering if the 70 % requirement to pass test is for both the plan reading and code section or do they combine the scores ?

Thanks for the help ......

Peace.....

RE: ICC Reinforced Concrete Test

1) a person does not have to submit a letter of qualifications for additional inspection licenses ?

To obtain an ICC cert as fire-proofing Special Inspector: No.

The governing jurisdiction where the inspection will take place may require additional information prior to allowing you to inspect.

2)  Also was wondering if the 70 % requirement to pass test is for both the plan reading and code section or do they combine the scores ?

The fire-proofing exam is a one part exam.

Check the ICC web site and download the latest testing information bulletin.
