Fluent Immersed Solid Question

Fluent Immersed Solid Question

Fluent Immersed Solid Question

(OP)
Hello All,

CFX v12 just introduced a new feature called immersed solid.  I have also heard this capability referred to as a superimposed mesh.

Does anyone know if Fluent has that capability as well?  I have looked through the some of the help file provided by Fluent and they refer to sliding and dynamic meshes.  Fluent apparently refers to sliding meshes as two independent mesh domains seperated by an interface.  Their dynamic mesh capability appears to refer to the modification of the mesh to simulate a solid moving in a fluid domain.

Thanks,

steve
