Can anyone explain why nx4 crashes when I try to print? It only crashes in drafting. We have 2 seats of nx4 and both crash everytime in drafting.

Please contact GTAC as they should be able to help you.

I think it is trying to save the forests!
It has ever been thus that despite being able to design rocketships the first question is always how do I print!

RE: nx4 crashes when I try to print

Hudson,

Yes, anyone who ever thought that computers would lead to that Utopian ideal of a 'paperless office' sure got that one wrong.  It's like drawing-less manufacturing.  If plotters had remained as large as small machine tools and their cost stayed in the $60K to $100K range like they were when I got into this business (which was 32 years ago next month), we'd have done away with drawings years ago, BUT NOOOOO....HP had to go and offer that first 8-pen, $9,000 D-sized plotter back in the mid-80's and killed forever the idea of doing away with drawings.  The only way to the get rid of something is to make so expensive that no one is willing to continue paying the cost of doing it.

RE: nx4 crashes when I try to print

I have had the same issue in NX 4. Using the File>Plot command instead of print seems to be a workaround though.
