ALE for non linear deformation

ALE for non linear deformation

ALE for non linear deformation

(OP)
Hello,
I am planning to use ALE for a nonlinear rigid plastic computation.
There are lot of elements in my model of the order of 100000.

Is it feasible(computationally) to do the simulation.i have no experience in ALE
so if anybody could give some tips, it will be great.

I know Abaqus and LSDYNA have capabilites to handle ALE simulation ?
Does msc marc have the capability, i have searched the manuals of Marc but i couldnt find information regarding ALE

RE: ALE for non linear deformation

Check on a small problem first with your hardware, software, materials and similar loading.
