Mono tube boiler

Mono tube boiler

(OP)
I'm looking into parallel mono-tube boilers for producing 15 psig steam from concentrated sunlight.  (I guess parallel makes it not so much a "mono" tube, maybe water tube is more accurate).  Looking into using aluminum pipe.

I would want to use compression fittings, but generally they are not used above 3/4" and using larger diameter pipe (1" - 1.5") would be preferable.  Lots of small reflective slats are less convenient than fewer larger ones.  What other fittings might i look into?  Api ring gaskets seem similar to compression fittings.  Any other ideas?

I know there other issues here (much bigger ones), such as pressure differentials between the parallel tubes.  So, any other comments or experiences are welcome.
