Apologies for posting this on another site but I got few responses on the civl site.

Ultrafiltration cells re to be deployed for pre treatment of a desalination plant. the UF cells are cleaned using a clean in place system involving the following:-

Sulphuric acid 0.1%w/v for 0.5hours each 4th day
Sodium hypocchlorite 300mg/L for 0.5 hours each 2nd day
Sulphuric acid + citric acid 0.1%w/v+ 0.25%w/v 3 hours each 30th day
Sodium hypochlorite 1000mg/L as Cl2 3 hours each 30th day

Washing regimes are separate.

Water and air scour used every 30minutes to clean the membranes.

Water temperature 12-26C.

I am looking for a liner for structural concrete cells to withstand these conditions.

Some papers claim PE will embrittle over the 25 design life. Any comments?

Liner should be preferably be weldable after cast in place against formwork. Welding also required for pipe nozzle penetrations.
