Micrologix 1200 and a 1762 IT4

Newbie to this and was wondering if anyone has had problems setting up a RTD input card to a 1200 processor. I have version 5.x software and it dosen't see the card when you do a I/O config.I set it up via other card with the 5 word file but I do not get anything reading on my input file or errors so I know the card isn't enabled. What other files do I need to make a PID to track a water temp and adjust it with my analog output? Any help would be appreciated.

I use IR4 cards with ML1200's all the time, a few minor issues.

First, you have to select the card from the menu and add it to the I/O, not sure why but I've never had much luck with the Read I/O Config on the MicroLogix.  The go to Adv Config and enable the channels you want, and set the display parameter, filter and such.

Go to Processor Status, and on the errors tab, set a "1" into S:1/8, Fault Override at Startup.  Otherwise if you have a small program you can get an I/O fault during powerup.

Hope that helps.
