If you know solidworks, there is a tool called configurations that lets you easily organize and edit multiple display states of an assembly. Is there anything like this in pro/e? thanks.

"Family Table" or Simplied Reps

RE: pro engineer "configurations"

Depending on what level of complexity you are looking at.
Family tables are very good for things like hardware items, a range of bolt lengths or nut diameters, etc.
Simplified reps get into dsiplaying different features or components in a file. This is more like the configurations that are in SW and NX.

RE: pro engineer "configurations"

Hey handleman05, I'm a CSWP, I've been using Pro/E for just a few months, but the Simplified reps is what you are looking for. It's not near as nice as configs... Good luck with Pro/E...
