Circular Pattern

Circular Pattern

Circular Pattern

(OP)
How do I create a circular patter without rotating the feature with respect to it's center line?  I have a slot and want to maintain the horizontal orientation, but have a circular pattern.

Thank you!

RE: Circular Pattern

Create a sketch using points placed around the axis, and then use a Sketch Driven Pattern.

RE: Circular Pattern

I believe a curve driven pattern using a circle for the curve would work as well.  Also, if you're using a sketch driven pattern, you may be able to make it more parametric by using a sketch pattern to make the points (this is assuming you can make a sketch pattern of points).

RE: Circular Pattern

The Curve Driven Pattern around a circle would be the better method.

RE: Circular Pattern

I did this and had to create a curve driven pattern inside the part.  Make sure you make your selection in bodies to pattern or it will not work.
