I have a 115v 3/4 HP winch motor that I need to power at a remote site where there is only 575v 3 phase.  I can add a transformer to that location to give me the 115v.  Question is....what size (kVA) and what amps for the time delay fuses?  FLA on the winch is 13.6.  Thanks!

You will have better performance if you rewire the motor for 230 Volts and use a 600:240 Volt transformer. The motor will draw 13.8 Amps times 120 Volts equals  1656 VA. Add 25% and you get 2070 VA. Use a 2 KVA, a 2.5 KVA or a 3 KVA, transformer depending on what you can find in stock.
A 600V:120/240V transformer will work for either 120 V or 240 V, same size transformer.

Thanks waross...rewiring is not an option....but I was thinking a 2000 would do the trick as is. :)
