Divided hexagon symbol

(OP)
My company uses a divided hexagon symbol to denote key dimensions. I tried to persuade them to use the actual key symbol located within SolidWorks but was unsuccessful. Does anyone know if this symbol can be created using text? I'd like to have it located within my favorite text files instead of inserting it as a block. Thanks for the help.

RE: Divided hexagon symbol

You can modify your gtol.sym file per FAQ559-1229: How Do I Create Custom Symbols?

Note that symbols you create this way will not display properly on a PC that doesn't have that same mod to its gtol.sym file.

RE: Divided hexagon symbol

Or you can create a sketch and save the geometry as a block and just scale it up and down as needed.  No need for a modified gtol.sym file and can be saved in your Design Library
