AutoCad Civil 3D 2009
AutoCad Civil 3D 2009
(OP)
Hi, I use autocad, but I'm absolutely new to autocad Civil, I need to do a Profile of a street and some sections, I have the center lines, the curves with elevations, but I have no clue how to do the profile. I did an alignment with the street center line but the profile turns out flat, how can I take into consideration the curve lines with elevations so it does the profile correctly taking into consideration what I have?

Step 2: Create your alignment <done>
Step 3: Create a profile from a surface -- this will give your profile the height you need.
Step 4: Create a proposed profile by layout. Use the tools on the toolbar to create tangents and curves.
Step 5: Create an assembly (typical section)
Step 6: Create a corridor using your alignment, profile assembly.

I mean, there are so many types of surfaces when I click create surface. Which one do I use? triangulation? grid? volume?
Thank you very much..!

The help files are very good. So are the Autodesk-sponsored books, which at around $70 each, are pretty cheap for training.
