HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

(OP)
Hi all,
Just upgraded to SW2009 sp3.0.
I have an assembly created originally in SW2007 sp4.0.

In a couple configs, I have some parts suppressed. These parts do not show in the configs they need to. They unsuppress in the tree but are not shown in the assembly. "Zoom to selection" from the feature manager tree does not show their loaction as well. Any thoughts?

RE: HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

Have you tried force rebuild ctrl+Q? Or View redrawing ctrl+R?

RE: HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

Were the SW07 files converted to SW09 before opening?
Have they been saved and re-opened in SW09?

Did you do a clean upgrade of SW09?
Did you do a clean upgrade of the graphics driver? Is the card supported?

RE: HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

Try also to create a simple new assembly. Are their components visible.

Try also "ZoomToFit" command.

RE: HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

Are the features within the parts suppressed?

RE: HIDDEN PARTS IN ASSY?

Right click > Show hidden components
See if they appear

Also check File > Find References and see if they are actually loaded and show correct file paths.
