i am designing a hub for a W35x2x30x16x9g shaft and am looking for some direction with completing the attached table from the DIN 5480 part 14 standard.  i have no experience with ISO splines so forgive the possibility of dumb questions.  

would the spline specification be N35x2x30x16x9H?

from the attached powerpoint slide, where can i find the values for tooth depth, test dimensions, and permissable radial runout?

is this table required on prints? if not, what is the preferred method of stating this is an ISO spline using DIN 5480?

Search on metric splines and there should be enough references by gearguru on this site to answer your questions. I know he answered a similar problem awhile back for a sliding fit.  What kind of fit are you looking for?

the short answer to your question is yes, you can specify the internal spline as
N35x2x30x16x9H

But because of the more difficult manufacturing of the internal splines, the more common spline would be
N35x2x30x16x10H
(The 9H has tighter tolerances than the 10H; the minimum backlash for both internal/external combinations would be the same; the max. backlash would be larger for 10H/9g splines)

It all depends on your manufacturing processes and function of the parts.

If you have all parts of that standard, you should read all of it carefully, it'll give you a lot of usefull information.
