Solidworks - Turn Object Into Light Source
Solidworks - Turn Object Into Light Source
(OP)
I've been working on a model of a small building in solidworks. I want to put lights inside the building that look like normal fluorescent lamps.
I've tried playing with the material properties and putting spot lights inside a pre-made part but nothing I've done looks very good.
Is there a way I can make a part that emits light which I can put inside the building assembly?

You can also add point lights in the "Lights and Cameras" folder. Perhaps add a point light inside a translucent part?
Also don't forget to turn down the ambient and external directional light.
