Recommend Automotive ECU/Motion Control Suppliers?

Recommend Automotive ECU/Motion Control Suppliers?

Can anyone recommend suppliers that provide automotive rated ECU's capable of closed loop motion control?

I am embarking on a large project involving an off-road heavy haul trailer that will include at least 9 axles incorporating closed loop hydraulic steering according to real time ackerman geometry.

There will be various digital and analog inputs and outputs needed to accomplish safety watchdog circuits, ackerman control, and the state of the hydraulic system.

I also desire to allow manual radio frequency controlled steering by follow vehicle personnel for certain situations.

Thanks Andy.  Do you have experience with any of Parker's associated sensors, particularly the angle sensors?

I'm interested in mounting a sensor similar to the RS60 or RS70 to a steer knuckle kingpin, but will need to compensate for radial tolerances during installation and relative axial motion during service.

RE: Recommend Automotive ECU/Motion Control Suppliers?

No. For angle sensors, we use a heavy duty product from some one else.

For steering position, we use LVDT's that are mounted in the hydraulic cylinders that control the steering.
