(OP)
Hi all,
I have a drawing in which I created a section and a detail view from that. I cannot seem to select any feature in the detail view from which to dimension, add centerlines, etc.

Has anyone experienced this before
SW2007
sp4.0

RE: detail views

have to tried to rebuild (CTRL+Q) I haven't seen this issue in the past.  You could try to save and reboot and see if that fixes it.

RE: detail views

swforge,

I've seen this behavior occasionally in SW 2009, but never in 2007. The fix in 2009 is to restart SW and reload the DWG, that's fixed it for me in the past.

RE: detail views

I have had that problem too. I had to add superficial lines to dimension, if I don't have the room to just show the whole view. They are not pinned down so as I work or open/close, they get thrown off.
