Dear all,

is it possible (like in all Microsoft appl.) to save a NX6 part to an earlier version of NX, for ex. NX4?

Thanks in advance.

Parasolid is an option...

I doubt very much that Siemens will ever implement backward compatability with NX, there is a big enough headache ensuring upwards compatability between versions.

RE: Save options

MDC/EDS/UGS/Siemens have always said they will not implement backward compatability. I have been on Unigraphics since UGII 3.2 and the backward issue comes up every so often and gets the same answer.
PTC and Dassault are no different with their products either. And I don't want to hear from you PTC users who say YES they can! It is a non-feature model when opened in the older version.
