I've been using an ISO post, but the controller doesn't recognise simple G-codes, such as G81 & G82,also the operator would rather read the code he's used to, so I've created a new post in postbuilder, from the options in the "new post" set-up, (conversational), and i'll have to try to work from there. My employer's,... (usual story) moan about the limitations which their in-experience with NX, has produced, but when i suggest paying PLM to write a post, they laugh at spending the money, in the mean time, I'm the one who get's the "attitude" off the guys' when thing's aren't working properly.....RANT, RANT......., so how about you, what issues are you having?

RE: looking for heidenhain 5-axis post

Go to the UG support website.

http://ftp.ugs.com/
You need a webkey account setup to access.

There are LOTS of sample postbuilder posts on there.

I searched for "Heidenhain", and got about 20 different sample posts. 3axis, 4axis, 5axis, you name it, it was there.
