specifying UV coordinates for curves-on-surface

specifying UV coordinates for curves-on-surface

specifying UV coordinates for curves-on-surface

(OP)
I have several Curves-on-Surface drawn on a random untrimmed NURBS surface, created using the 'surface through 4 points tool' in the Automotive Class A workbench.

When moving the control points of this curve by using the 'edit' command, I can only specify 3 dimensional coordinates even though it is a control point that exists in the 2 dimensional UV space of my NURBS surface. When changing one of these 3 coordinates, the other 2 change as well and even the coordinate I just edited is updated though some kind of iterative process I don't see.

I suspect that is a way to specify the UV coordinates for any particular control point, but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone tell me how they position their vertices for a CoS properly?
