Dear Abaqus Users;

I meshed my 3d simple rectangular part as an unstructured mesh. As you know the partition option is available in cae mode. But I used input file to generate. While doing this I defined the two different pair of nodes at the middle section so I meshed top part refined and meshed rougly the bottom part. At the middle there are two nodes defined at the same coordinate system. The meshes seem ok but when  I started the simulation there is no heat flux cross the middle to bottom. Heat source at top so the problem is due to defination of different nodes at the same coordinates there is no contact between them. But it is not a contact problem it is just same part with unstructured mesh. Is there any way to fix it?

Best Thanks

Emrecan Soylemez
