In my office we use MS Project 2000 with a Resource Pool and Project Central.  On two occasions we have noticed that MS Project has changed the name of a project by added a ‘_TEMP’ to the end of the project name on the database.  I suspect that it has something to do with the ‘Expand Timephased Data in the Database’ option on the ‘Save’ tab under [Tools] [Options].  Any one got an idea why or how this is happening?  Also, anyone know if this is an intentional feature of MS Project?  If so what is its purpose?
