Hello,

i encountered a problem when trying to apply a through curve mesh  at a edge of a cut off solid body.
I used one of the edges of the 45°cut off cylinder as a cross section when defining the mesh.
The primary strings ended each at the edges of the cylinder (see attached scrs).

The mesh was successfully created and afterwards i carried out an extrude of the mesh surface until extended (bottom of the cylinder) and using one of the cylinder edges as vector.

But then when trying to "combine" bodies a get a error like  "do not form a complete intersection" so its showing up some  "gaps" between the mesh surface and the cut off cylinder. But well that cant be true since i used the edge as reference for the mesh surface - tolerances are 0.001mm.

I finally managed to do a "workaround" by enlarging the mesh surface a little bit "into"  the cylinder like 2/100 mm.

But thats not the way its meant to be ? so why does that issue appear and how to avoid it?

It looks like just a horrible thing to want to try and do there are probably better ways but I couldn't propose much without seeing some geometry in order to better understand what you're trying to achieve. Just looking at you're image I'm torn between suggesting that a completely different construction would be preferable, and questioning the quality of the defining curves as relates to continuity and trying to avoid building into sharp corners.
