Intriguing NASTRAN output vector
Intriguing NASTRAN output vector
(OP)
hey guys,
I have to repeat the analysis of a third, the guy presented the stress results of CQUADR elements in terms of two intriguing vectors...
6036..SHELL MAX PRINCIPAL-1/2
6037..SHELL MIN PRINCIPAL:-1/2
Does anyone have already be in touch with these vectors?
are them related to NASTRAN NX solver... or to the new UGS Femap 10x?
I couldn't get these vectors from op2 or f06 files in NASTRAN 2007r1
any help? tips...
tks

RE: Intriguing NASTRAN output vector
Not sure tho how to find them into the f06 print.
Just select the options in the stress submenus for marker/tensor.
RE: Intriguing NASTRAN output vector
those vectors are the stress vectors into the plane without any shear. So you rotate them in the direction to obtain zero shear.
In use for some fatigue analysis for example.
