Feature updates in NX-6

Feature updates in NX-6

Feature updates in NX-6

What is with the continuous feature updates after each new operation in NX-6. Is there a way to control when NX updates features in the history tree?

RE: Feature updates in NX-6

I think you will have to be a little more explicit in describing what it is that you're doing when you see these 'updates'.  Can you provide a sample part and a step-by-step description of what you did?  Or, since in NX 6.0 we can now do video captures of what you're doing on the screen, why not record and post a short clip as they might also help to show what's happening and what it is that you might be doing which is causing it?

Most often I have found that the updating occurs when I use the pocket design function from the mold wizard package.
I have created a movie but I can not upload it to  engineering.com.

RE: Feature updates in NX-6

The use of Mold Wizard would probably explain that behavior and therefore should not be used a general example of NX performance or behavior.

Mold Wizard is a NX licensed product.
And this problem is directly related to the software performance.

RE: Feature updates in NX-6

I was simply stating that the performance of Mold Wizard is not indicative of the general performance of NX.

You state that you are "using the pocket design function FROM the Mold Wizard package".  Are you actually using the complete Mold Wizard product or just one of this functions?  If so, why are using that instead of taking a more conventional approach using normal NX Modeling functions?
