DesignModeler "Glue"

DesignModeler "Glue"

DesignModeler "Glue"

(OP)
Hi all,

I'm just starting out using DesignModeler with workbench 12.  I know the classic version very well, and I am looking for the "glue" command.  It seems that I am looking for Connect in DM...When I use this command it seems to connect the areas OK but I dont think the lines and nodes are connected.  I am doing this for a 2D axisymmetric analysis of concentric cylinders and dont want to have a contact region.

Any ideas?

Thanks

RE: DesignModeler "Glue"

The glue operation in Design Modeler can be performed in two ways: grouping all bodies together in the same part or using the Boolean operation UNITE.

Regards,
Steve

Yes, I was looking for the create new part command

RE: DesignModeler "Glue"

There is no commmand. You just have to select all bodies and then create a part..

That easy.
