1 Year 1 Hour Rainfall Intensity Storm Event for LEED

1 Year 1 Hour Rainfall Intensity Storm Event for LEED

(OP)
Hello.  I'm needing to do a hand calculation for the 1 year 1 hour storm event for LEED.  However, I'm unable to locate an Intensity-Duration Design Chart for that year.  I'm needing a way to determine the rainfall intensity.  This is for San Bernardino County.  I'm not entirely sure where else to look.  Anything at all would help.  Thanks a lot!!

RE: 1 Year 1 Hour Rainfall Intensity Storm Event for LEED

I believe this question was asked only a few weeks ago. The county doesn't provide that information, nor does NOAA. You will have to plot on log-log paper and extrapolate to estimate the rainfall. See the thread below:

RE: 1 Year 1 Hour Rainfall Intensity Storm Event for LEED

Part of San Bernadino County is covered by the NOAA updated mapping. If you know the latitude and longitude of your site you may be able to get your answer directly. If you don't, you may have to download maps and estimate precip. from them.

For an example from the City of San Bernandino try this link:

Good luck
