NFPA and pipes material

(OP)
Looking for information related of which NFPA code permit or not-permit the use of PVC and CPVC pipes in HVAC applications (chilled water, ahu drains, condensated water, other).

International Plumbing Code permit the use of PVC in HVAC applications, but and not sure about NFPA.

RE: NFPA and pipes material

I am in a corrsovie environment, coastal salt, we use a lot of plastic. It mainly depends on if you have ceilings that are return plenums or not, we do not run plastic in plenums

The way we build has a far greater impact on our comfort, energy consumption and IAQ, than any HVAC system we install
