How to create jagged edge along curved edge?

How to create jagged edge along curved edge?

(OP)
Can anyone help me create a jagged edge along a curved and uneven edge in solid works? It will look like if you cut a coke can in half at an angle and then cut jagged teeth all the way around along where it was cut. I just don't know how to go about doing this with the curve. I could easily do this if it was a rectangle/square using extruded cuts but the the jagged edge/teeth cannot not be made evenly all the way around with a cylindrical type of geometry. If anyone can help me out that would be great. Thanks.

Copy the surface using offset.  Trim the surface to the shape of removed material, thendo a thicken cut.
