hi
i´m from german and have a question about a my job titel.
i´m member in a german injection and mould forum,and we have a big discussion about our job titel.we work with mould injection maschines.we start up and set injection moulders and solve produktion and quality problems.
but no one nows the correct job titel.
we got plastic moulder or procedual mechanics or plastic form donor.....
would you help me to find the correct job titel?!

I think only a German would be so concerned. To most others there is no correct title, but maybe some incorrect ones.
Certainly in Aus we are more concerned about the authority and pay than the name.
We have a saying, "you can call me anything but late for dinner"

the german name is :Kunststoffformgeber or Verfahrensmechaniker für Kunststoff und Kautschuk
but what are you doin´g to get the right job.and to write the
application.Like a baker or butcher or...
you look in the newspaper, and you don´t now what are you looking for?
the application for your job training?

after 3 jears job training we are like practitioner.
then you work 5 years, and after that you go to school for 2 years,then you are a master or a technican.a technican worc in an óffice and calculate prices for artikels.a master works in the production.he manage the people and the rest of the production.
is this the same technican like you say??

Technician sounds like it would cover you, in the UK the term 'foreman' might be used to describe essentially a shop floor supervisor.
